With lyricism, irony and absolute normality, as well as a great sense of humor, Raquel Saiz revisits the cliché of the princess of traditional fairy tales who meets a prince and falls in love with him for life. The author thus takes advantage of a commonplace to make us reflect on human values and feelings, and to discover the value of coexistence between different people, although in the end not so different.
Croatian illustrator Maja Celija, who approaches the Galician public for the first time, presents us with an expressionist and forceful style, with an evident sense of humor. On the other hand, the illustrations of great expressive force reflect and enrich the ironic and humorous character of Raquel Saiz’s text.
