Boys and girls from Fez (Morocco) participate in the reading workshop based on the album ‘The Lion’s Mask'

On the occasion of today’s celebration (25th, May) of Cervantes’s day for infant and juvenile literature, the Cervantes Institute in Fez (Morocco) participates in a programme of activities that include a workshop to stimulate reading. This session is based on the story from OQO editora The Lion’s Mask (Margarita del Mazo and Paloma Valdivia).

The workshop will be given by Margarita del Mazo, together with Paloma Valdivia, who shall also participate in an author and illustrators’ congress also organized for the occasion of this event.

The institution in Fez which is the Cervantes Institute denominates a literary congress on line, through which activities will be carried out in 28 centres on the five continents with some of the most distinguished figures in infant and juvenile literature in the languages from Spain.

With this, the Cervantes intends to encourage children’s and adolescents’ interest in books and favour the development of new readers.
